I enjoy this time of year. Wrapping up 2018, the collective sigh as we all slow down and say goodbye to the many tasks and projects still yet to accomplish in 2018. There’s something freeing about the end of the year – when we truly have to let go of our “to-dos” and instead turn our energy toward the exciting list of possibilities the new year brings us.
It is easy to want to hit the ground running into 2019, without looking back. Reflecting on the past year helps us examine the challenges of stunted growth, frustrations, and/or stalled profits our businesses may have experienced in 2018. I like to think that we “learn from the past to improve the future.” A time when we can look back on the year that has passed and prepare for the year ahead.
Reflecting on the Past Year to Help Support Our Growth in the New Year
You may have started the year with great expectations. May have set team goals, laid out objectives, and charted a course in the right direction. In other words, you set your team and your business up for great success…
Are Roadblocks Stopping You from Reaching Your Goals?
But, sometime during the year it was realized that staying on course is harder than thought as your team lost momentum and became unaligned with your vision. How do we circumvent possible roadblocks that are stopping your business from becoming a healthy, functional, cohesive organization? As you may have discovered it takes a unique combination of teaching, facilitating, and coaching to begin and keep that momentum.
Looking Back on 2018
We are ecstatic with our clients results in 2018. On average they experienced a 19% boost in revenue, a 29% increase in profits, and an 81% completion of their Rocks (aka, annual goals). Each of these clients knew what it took to get to the next level, and each was willing to refocus, set priorities, and work on team health to get there. And it paid off!
By looking back at the challenges these business owners had experienced, we were able to decode the WHY behind their challenges. Hense, understanding the WHY turned their frustrating challenges into doable solutions that moved their businesses forward.
With the expansion of my own business this past year, I have experienced my own professional growth. As I reflect on the past, I become even more excited to ring in the New Year!
Ringing in the New Year with a New Approach
I invite you to begin the new year with a new approach to your business. If the past years have shown you the same results and the same stagnation and frustrations, make 2019 the year to create true, consistent change.
Start at the Beginning
And, where to begin? Of course, I’m going to tell you to start by contacting Traction Coach – that should be a given! But in all seriousness, start with the WHAT. What change do you need to see? Can you even put your finger on it or do you just know something needs to change? If you can’t pinpoint what’s holding you back, don’t worry, you’re not alone. Many business leaders realize the need to change to move forward and become a functional, cohesive team, but they aren’t sure how to do that.
That’s why you need to discover the HOW. Bring your team into the discussion. Talk over how is this change even possible and what has stopped you in the past from moving forward? Maybe your team isn’t 100% on the same page, or your leadership needs to become more disciplined to help you execute your vision. No matter what’s holding you back, now is the time gain traction towards achieving your goals.
Individual Commitment is a Group Effort
Which leads us to commitment. It’s time to truly commit to stepping into a healthier, better, and more successful version of you in 2019. And, while we realize business leaders are busy, our process takes your time into account by implementing the tools that will have the greatest impact, first. Within a short period of time, everything starts to fall into place – we call that traction.
Ready to go for Great? We can bring you and your team together to produce results and create the change needed to take you to your next level of success. Get Started!
Here’s to a great 2019. The best is yet to come, my friends.
